Imaging system with adaptive high beam control device

An imaging system is provided herein. The image sensor is configured to capture one or more images of a scene outside and in front of the controlled vehicle and generate image data corresponding to the captured image. The controller is communicatively connected to the image sensor and is configured to receive and analyze image data. The controller generates an ON signal or an OFF signal based on the detection or absence of an object of interest in the image data. The vehicle's high beam control is turned on based on the ON signal or turned off based on the OFF signal. The controller changes the future response time at which the OFF signal is generated based on the ON signal or the external override of the OFF signal.
