A self-adaptive data transmission period control method and an IoT system applying the same are provided. The data transmission period of devices that do not detect is set as the second period. Accordingly, the data transmission period of the devices is self-adaptively controlled according to the situation in which the device is facing, and the entire bandwidth can be efficiently used.
