In the present invention, the strain generated in the circumferential direction of the conduit is measured using an optical fiber sensor in order to monitor the occurrence of leakage at the conduit connection, but even if a very small strain occurs in the circumferential direction at the conduit connection, it is measured by amplifying it. By doing so, it relates to a pipe strain measuring device capable of accurately measuring and monitoring whether there is leakage of a pipe connection, and a method of monitoring whether there is leakage of a pipe connection using the same.
