The present invention relates to a stepped frequency broadband radar system, and more specifically, to a method of obtaining a response characteristic of a target object through a signal processing algorithm in an RF chip for communication using a direct conversion method. Since the radar of the present invention has a two-channel receiver, it is possible to filter the DC component and the frequency component included in each signal without mixing each signal. Accordingly, the radar of the present invention has an effect that DC components can be efficiently removed without being mixed.
