The proposed invention relates to medical biotechnology, more particularly to tissue engineering methods in regenerative medicine. The method consists in that, alongside conservative treatment methods, a replacement therapy is provided for treating damaged skin by means of polymeric matrices the histotypical structure of which is similar to that of body tissues and which comprise biologically active agents of cell origin, inter alia, collagen and laminin, which promote the structure-forming activity in the damaged area. The biodegradable wound-healing composite material based on a combination of a polymer base and a product synthesized by human epithelial cells, while said material does not contain a cell component, is characterised by a relatively simple production process and a long storage life, and will make it possible to avoid skin transplantation in the case of, for example, deep and large burns, trophic ulcers and the like.
