FIELD: nuclear physics.SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for determination of super small amounts of nuclei of a radioactive nuclide of a particle. Method includes placing a particle containing a radioactive nuclide above a target, the medium between the particle and target is air, then irradiating the particle and target in the field of thermal neutrons, then chemical manifestation of tracks on target and counting tracks on target during image processing only in segment of ring, where this calculation is possible. Then, using the formula of the number of nuclei of the radioactive nuclide of the particle from the counted number of tracks, the values of the number of nuclei of the radioactive nuclide of the particle are calculated.EFFECT: invention enables to determine the number of nuclei of a radioactive nuclide in the case of unavailability of all tracks.1 cl, 3 dwg
