Danilin criterion d of the quenching chamber of a dry coke quenching plant

The invention relates to coke quenching in coke dry quenching (CDQ) facilities. The essence of the invention consists in determining the superficial velocity of coke descent (Wк, m/s) in a quenching chamber and the superficial velocity of circulating gases (WƧ, m/s) in a quenching chamber that is not filled with coke, then determining the Danilin criterion d by the product of the aforementioned superficial velocities, and, based on the value of said criterion, determining the dust content value (М) of the circulating gases downstream from the aforementioned quenching chamber and the value of the specified diameter of the quenching chamber. The technical result of the proposed invention consists in developing the Danilin criterion d of a quenching chamber of a CDQ facility in order to determine and maintain a given dust content value (М) of circulating gases downstream from the quenching chamber and in order to determine the diameter of the quenching chamber depending on the nominal output of the CDQ facility of quenched coke. The technical result of the proposed invention also consists in developing two new classes of Danilin CDQ facility systems (C and D).
