FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sheet pile walls and can be used in hydraulic engineering during construction of sea and river berths, as well as in civil and industrial construction. More specifically, invention relates to sheet pile wall for soil with different strength characteristics along length of said sheet pile wall. Sheet pile wall for soil with different strength characteristics contains steel tubular piles with locking pairs, which are hammered into ground, each of which consists of a holder and a comb, made of profiles with constant throughout their length cross-section shape, wherein each comb is made with at least one locking edge arranged in the cavity of the cartridge to form a lock joint. Contains sections with different center-to-center distances between piles, wherein center-to-center distances of the section of the tongue-and-groove wall erected on strong soil is greater than the center-to-center distance of the section erected on weak soil. Width of ridges, measured along neutral axis X of sheet tongue, is such that in connected state locking pair covers distance "in light" between external surfaces of adjacent piles, note here that width of crests of lock pairs on strong soil is accordingly larger than crest width on weak soil.;EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of metal consumption and creation of tongue-and-groove wall optimized by metal consumption depending on different strength characteristics of soil, on which sheet pile wall is constructed, without loss of bearing capacity of this wall.;6 cl, 5 dwg
