Method may include performing heat treatment to determine losses for calcination for a representative first portion of a sample of product, identification and quantitative determination of primary and secondary peaks present in the first diffraction pattern, which is obtained as a result of diffraction of X-ray radiation in the volume of the powder on the representative second part of the sample, and using a known standard cristobalite sample to determine whether primary and secondary peaks present in the first diffraction pattern show the presence of opal-C or cristobalite in the product.;EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of obtained survey data.;17 cl, 33 dwg, 20 tbl
