Method includes process of saturation of soil exchange complex with singly-charged weakly hydrated cation. Said cation is fixed inside crystalline lattice of mineral by heating with subsequent displacement of cations from exchange positions of NH4+ ions. Saturating single-charge cation used is cesium labeled with radioactive isotope 137Cs, content of which is determined by method of γ-spectrometry.;EFFECT: more accurate, easy-to-implement and faster method of determining vermiculite in soil.;1 cl, 1 tbl
