FIELD: manufacturing technology.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cable technology, specifically to methods of making structural elements of fiber-optic miniature cables and to designs of fiber-optic miniature cables intended for use in control systems, on-board communication and information transmission in various models of aircraft and spacecrafts. Method of braiding by reinforcing high-modulus synthetic threads, in which at least four high-modulus synthetic threads under tension are passed under braiding, which reduces radial load on optical fiber at application of braiding. Miniature cable corresponding to this method comprises one optical fiber with primary and buffer coatings applied in series, a hardening coating, made in the form of braiding from high-modulus synthetic threads and at least four longitudinally laid under braiding of same threads with equal distances between adjacent threads, outer shell of technical fluoroplastic or its copolymers.;EFFECT: reduction of radial forces during braiding application.;5 cl, 2 dwg
