FIELD: biotechnology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention is a method for preventing respiratory infections of broiler chickens, involving 10 % propolis infusion into a bird in dose of 1 ml/1 l of water in age periods of 1–5, 14–18, 25–30 days and additional aerosol treatment of poultry house air once day with 10 % propolis tincture, diluted water 1:20, 500 ml/100 m³ rooms, exposure 60 minutes per 1, 7, 14, 21, 22, 28, 29, 35, 36 days of growing.;EFFECT: proposed method for preventing respiratory infections of broiler chickens reduces the number of pathogenic, opportunistic microorganisms in indoor air for their maintenance and on mucous membrane of birds larynx, activates the immune system, metabolism, which increases safety by 2–3 %, living weight by 236,6–342,7 g, profitability by 18,3 % and enables to obtain safe poultry products without using chemicals.;1 cl, 7 tbl, 2 ex
