FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology, neuropsychology and occupational pathology, and can be used for detecting the signs of chronic professional combined exposure of local and general body vibration. Neuropsychological examination of the state of higher mental functions is performed, and the following indices are determined: an auditory-instrumental short-term memory value according to the "10 words" test, impressive speech according to the test "explanation of logic-grammatical structures", dynamic praxis on the "fist-rib-palm" sample. That is followed by calculating a discriminant function F, comparing the result with a constant: if F is more than the constant, the patient is diagnosed with the signs of cognitive disorders associated with occupational combined exposure of the local and general vibration, if F is less than or equal to a constant – no signs of cognitive disorders associated with combined effect of local and general vibration in production.;EFFECT: method enables detecting patients with a vibration disease associated with a combined effect of local and general vibration in the group at risk of developing cognitive disorders, reducing the volume of paraclinical studies by using a minimum number of the most informative diagnostic parameters.;1 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex
