In method for development of ultraviscous oil deposit with gas cap horizontal production wells are drilled, determining the outline of the gas-oil contact GOC outer contour as per the drilling data of the horizontal production wells, with GOC outline radius of 750 m and more, horizontal injection and gas-producing wells in the gas cap drilling, horizontal gas-producing and injection wells are equipped with filters, at GOC external circuit radius of less than 750 m vertical injection and gas-producing wells are drilled in gas cap, vertical wells are perforated at formation roof, temperature and pressure monitoring devices are installed in horizontal production and gas-producing wells, pressure in the gas cap is regulated in the range not exceeding the pressure in the oil part of deposit by 5–15 % and not lower than the pressure in the oil part of deposit by 15–25 % by successive pumping of steam and gas in volume ratio P:G – 1:10–25 in injection well and simultaneous gas extraction through gas-producing well from gas cap with creation of steam-gas chamber, then, after reaching temperature in gas producing well equal to 80–100 % of evaporation temperature, gas withdrawal is stopped and products are taken from horizontal production well.;EFFECT: increased efficiency of oil extraction, exclusion of heat carrier breakthrough into gas caps, increased efficiency of steam injection, increased quality of extracted product, reduced steam and oil ratio.;1 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
