FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to functional diagnostics of internal diseases, and can be used in paediatrics, cardiology, neurology for establishing cardiovascular risk. Method involves determining arterial pressure and evaluating the obtained results by percentile tables. Systolic blood pressure SBP and diastolic blood pressure of DBP are measured in a child. Average AD - AvAD is calculated by formula (2 × DBP + SBP)/3. Obtained result is compared with reference values by presented in description of percentile table 1 distribution of AvAD in healthy children depending on height and sex. If observing an increase in the index of AvAD in the range from median to 90th percentile, the children are isolated as a risk group for developing remodelling and haemodynamic disorders. If the AvAD is above 90th percentile, the background of normal SBP and DBP, the presence of initial signs of vascular wall remodelling is diagnosed.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to allocate children in groups of risk on early development of infarctions and strokes at their preclinical stage of development, even at normal levels of SBP and DBP.;1 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
