FIELD: clothes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to knitting manufacture, namely, to production of knitted berets. Method of knitted berets manufacturing consists in the fact that beret workpiece is knitted on flat-loop machine with loops extensions, after removal from machine, open edges of workpiece are sutured, after stitching beret workpiece is washed and put in washing machine, then it is dried, after which dried workpiece on beret shape is pulled and mold is made with outer, then repeatedly pulls is pulled on mold and is finished on inner side of workpiece, wherein the beret workpiece surface finishing is performed by the belt grinder prior to exclusion of coils and slopes, then the beret blank is repeatedly washed, dried and then treated with hot steam, and for stocking of the knitted beret, worsted yarn is used.;EFFECT: invention usage will make it possible to produce knitted berets from natural raw material – domestic pure woolen yarn and to obtain from end-of-end yarn the final product of quality equal to cooked Loden wool; beret can be used in any weather conditions, high quality of berets of specified texture, there is no change in identity of manufactured product, it does not lose initially specified dimensions, type and quality; when processing the workpiece with the disclosed method, during operation, along with dry cleaning, it can be washed in manual washing at 40 degrees Celsius.;6 cl
