FIELD: pipelines.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat insulation of pipelines and can be used in external laying of heating and hot water supply pipelines in close proximity to residential buildings. Proposed heat insulation consists of layer of heat-insulating material and protective coating. Insert is installed from above the pipe from a rigid heat insulator, above which there is a metal coating in the form of a moulded strip along the pipe, or a casing around the pipe. Coating or casing protects other soft heat insulation and winding material. Insert has a profile which is inconvenient for walking and which complicates pedestrian movement along the pipe.;EFFECT: increases overhaul life of pipelines.;1 cl, 11 dwg
