A method for reconstructing an arteriovenous fistula in a proximal stenosis involves accessing the fistulous vein in the upper one-third of the forearm and crossing it, redirecting the fistulous vein blood flow to the medial subcutaneous vein of the arm. Additionally, a cross-section is made in the distal area of the fistulous vein and its intersection in this region. A vein-venous anastomosis is formed between this segment of fistulous vein and the distal section of the medial saphenous vein of the arm by end-to-side type, and the proximal portion of the fistulous vein in the upper one-third of the forearm is anastomosed with an end-to-side radial artery.;EFFECT: method provides maintaining constant vascular access and longer period of its use for hemodialysis, possibility of using a fistulous vein for punctures immediately after reconstruction and enlarging the zones for puncture of the fistulous vein ensured by preserving the arterialised fistulous vein segment and including the medial saphenous vein of the hand.;1 cl, 4 dwg, 1 ex
