Disclosed is a method of using geothermal energy and heat of dumps of overburden rocks of deep coal mines through a heat exchanger laid on the underlying rock of extracted coal. Heating of the heat carrier in the heat exchanger takes place on the underlying layer of rock of extracted coal at depth of 100 m and more, closed from above by overburden glowing rocks of the internal dump.;EFFECT: technical result is obtaining geothermal and heat energy of dumps on spent deep coal mining open pits.;1 cl
