In gas-discharge generator of high-frequency pulses, containing gas-discharge chamber formed by hollow cathode and anode isolated from it, system of gas medium formation, as well as a power source and an electrical load unit, wherein the gas medium forming system is interconnected with the inner space of the gas-discharge camera, one of the electrodes of the gas-discharge chamber is connected to the high-voltage power supply bus, the other is connected to the zero bus, unit of electric load is connected between electrodes of gas-discharge chamber, and contact of load unit with electrode connected to zero bus is arranged by means of return current conductor. Reverse current lead is a conductor with low resistance, made in the form of a shell, inside which there is an electrode of the chamber, connected to the high-voltage bus of the power source, and gap between electrodes, in proposed generator space limited by inner surfaces of shell and external surfaces of elements of gas-discharge chamber located inside shell is arranged impermeable for liquids and filled with liquid dielectric. Transformer oil can be used as liquid dielectric.;EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in service life of gas-discharge generator of high-frequency pulses in intensive pulse-periodic modes due to efficient cooling of heated elements of generator structure while maintaining compactness of device.;1 cl, 1 dwg
