FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for treating osteoarthritis of the knee joint (OK). OK treatment method involves the Alloplant dispersed biomaterial diluted in physiological saline injection in ratio of 50 mg of dry biomaterial per 10 ml of physiologic saline, wherein the dispersed Alloplant biomaterial is injected by 1.0 ml into the biologically active points of the general immunomodulatory pattern – GV 14, LI 11, ST 36, and in local biologically active points in the projection of the knee joint EX-LE 156, EX-LE 160, GB33, EX-LE 145 course of 8–10 procedures daily or every other day, wherein the therapeutic course is conducted against the background of the basic drug-induced therapy with a non-steroid anti-inflammatory preparation and magnetic therapy with low-frequency magnetic field.;EFFECT: disclosed invention enables higher clinical effectiveness of OK by using a complex of therapeutic factors, which enables to eliminate shorter synovitis events, reduce pain syndrome and enhance body functional capabilities.;1 cl, 2 ex
