FIELD: hydraulic structures.;SUBSTANCE: end section of flanged type of pressure water-passage structure with vertical outlet of flow relates to hydraulic engineering - to structural elements of pressure water-passage structures, and can be used as a power damper for flow of pressure closed water conduit (spillways, water outlet or a water drain) at hydraulic units with medium and high heads. Proposed device comprises pressure water conduit 3 with flow deflector 1 horizontally arranged above its outlet 2 and symmetrical in shape and resting on vertical wall 5 repeating planar part of deflector 1 contour. Flow deflector 1 is made in the form of a triangle or a figure of a polygonal outline, to the free edge of which there adjoins guiding canvas 4 with an inclination angle Y to horizontal from 30° to 45°. Height of vertical wall 5 on which reflector 1 rests is made of constant height from 0.5d to 1.25d, where d is diameter of pressure water line 3.;EFFECT: device provides stable contour of contact of incident jet with bottom of bottom flow in the whole range of flow rates, which makes it possible to execute cushion pool in the form of trench with small width at the bottom.;1 cl, 3 dwg
