FIELD: transportation.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, including to axle boxes of railway bogies. Axle equipment comprises axle box opening, adapter, axle box and interlock. Axle box opening is formed by inner and outer jaws of side frame. Internal jaw comprises a vertical wall, a lower surface and horizontal ribs. Locking device contains a holder and a cross connected to each other. Holder is made with slots, recess, shoulders and wall with holes. Cross piece contains shank, tooth, base with holes and stop. Holder is installed with slots on horizontal ribs of jaw opening with possibility of support of shoulders in vertical wall. Cross-piece shank is inserted into the recess of the holder with the possibility of resting against the lower surface of the internal jaw and is fixed to the holder with threaded fasteners.;EFFECT: higher reliability of axle box assembly.;5 cl, 7 dwg
