METHOD OF PREVENTING ISCHEMIC COMPLICATIONS IN POST-TRANSPLANTATION PERIOD IN ORTHOTOPIC LIVER TRANSPLANTATION

If the VBF HA value is less than 100 ml/min, the paravasal tissues are infiltrated with papaverine, the hepatic artery is dilated with a Fogarty probe, the gastroduodenal artery is ligatured, and the transplant perfusion is evaluated with allowance for the perfusion index (PI) calculated by the original formula. If the PI value is less than 0.13, the splenic artery is clamped for no more than 10 minutes, while measuring VBF HA and VBF PV.
