FIELD: measuring equipment.;SUBSTANCE: disclosed are viscous fluids flow rate ultrasonic measurement device and method. In one embodiment, the ultrasonic flow rate measurement system comprises an ultrasonic flow meter, a flow stabilizer and a converging adapter. Ultrasonic flowmeter has two ultrasonic transducers used to exchange ultrasonic signals through a flow of fluid medium passing between transducers. Flow stabilizer is located upstream of ultrasonic flow meter. Tapering adapter is located between the flow stabilizer and the ultrasonic flowmeter to reduce cross-sectional area of the fluid flow extending from the flow stabilizer to the ultrasonic flowmeter. Calculation logic circuit is configured to calculate values of Reynolds number and viscosity of fluid flow in transient flow mode based on instantaneous value of fluid medium profile coefficient.;EFFECT: technical result is enabling of viscous fluids flow rate measurement accuracy.;23 cl, 14 dwg, 1 tbl
