FIELD: oil and gas industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular to devices with wellhead drive for production of bituminous oil from horizontal wells. Downhole pumping unit for production of bituminous oil comprises a tubing string with a pump consisting of a housing and a rotor with an output shaft larger than the length of the rotor. Rods lowered into well shaft for oil production. Ground drive for rods rotation, shank with filter at pump intake lowered to horizontal section of well shaft. For rotation of output shaft with rotor splined shaft is connected to bell equipped with internal splines, with possibility of limited longitudinal movement and formation of telescopic pair. Telescopic pair is connected to the elongated output shaft by means of a spline shaft or a bell, the bell is equipped with a centraliser, and the output shaft – with a centraliser with a stop restricting input of the output shaft to the bell. Length of splined shaft and bell are selected so that to compensate for elongation or compression of rods with margin at any possible changes of temperature inside borehole. Splined shaft on the end face is provided with a limiter preventing its exit from the bell.;EFFECT: increased service life between repairs and possibility of exclusion of permanent control over pump unit operation.;3 cl, 3 dwg
