METHOD OF PRODUCING WOOD WITH MODIFIED TEXTURE

FIELD: woodworking industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wood processing, in particular, to production of wood with a modified texture. Raw timber of alder is loaded into impregnation unit from end face under pressure and impregnated from the side of the root with water or organic solution of the first dye to content of dye 2–3 % of weight of dry wood. After impregnation in one direction, the same solution is impregnated from the other end of the log to obtain a uniform colour. After impregnation, the log is cut into a bar or planks, dried and impregnated with another dye in a radial direction till the dye content is 0.7–1 % of dry wood weight. Then the beam or boards are dried with simultaneous pressing at angle of 45° or 90° relative to the radial direction to the degree of pressing of 40 % or 50 %.;EFFECT: wood texture is improved.;1 cl, 2 dwg
