FIELD: woodworking industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, in particular, to device for veneer sheet transportation, obtained by peeling chuck on a machine for making a wood-laminated board, for example plywood. Proposed device comprises support elements to support first and second veneer sheets, plate springs, at least one displacement element and actuator. Plate springs are located nearby in the second direction perpendicular to the first direction, which is veneer sheet feed direction, and parallel to the surface of the veneer sheet. Each leaf spring is equipped with an inclined part in the first direction so that its other end is located closer to the first veneer sheet than said one end, in the third direction perpendicular to the surface of the veneer first sheet, wherein one end of each of the leaf springs is arranged side by side in a first direction. At that, at least one movement element is connected to the above one end of each of the leaf springs, and the actuating element is made with possibility of reciprocal movement of the said movement element in the third direction between the first and the second positions. In the first position, the one and the other ends of the leaf spring are remote from the surface of the first veneer sheet, and in the second position, the one end of the leaf spring is located on the first conditional line passing through said one end in the third direction, or on second conditional line closer to second veneer sheet than first conditional line, near surface of first veneer sheet, but without contact therewith.;EFFECT: device provides tight connection of sheets of veneer of non-standard size.;7 cl, 48 dwg
