FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing metal catalysts, particularly a method of producing a palladium catalyst on an aluminum oxide carrier for low-temperature oxidation of carbon monoxide. Method involves preparation of an impregnating solution by dissolving palladium chloride in water, impregnating the support with said solution, reducing palladium with sodium formate, washing with impregnated carrier water to negative reaction to chlorine ion and subsequent drying, wherein carrier is previously thermally treated in drying chamber at temperature (310±10) °C for 4 hours.;EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of catalyst used in devices for cleaning air with increased strength to mechanical loads during shocks, vibration and shaking, longer service life, providing preset efficiency of oxidation for a long period of time at reduction of its cost due to reduction of formation of fine fraction and dust during production.;1 cl, 2 tbl, 8 ex
