FIELD: measurement.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of tracking flight of spacecrafts (SC). Method involves measuring initial parameters of the SC orbit and determining time and coordinates of SC therefrom. In addition, SC is subjected to primary and, after preset time, repeated survey of observation object located outside orbit plane on underlying surface (US) with measured coordinates of points of terrain. Coordinates of points US corresponding to identifiable points of the image are determined based on orthorectified primary and repeated images. From these points, sets are determined, coordinates of points of which with given accuracy satisfy equations of determination of cone vertex, beams and axis of which pass through data points US, and angle of solution is equal to angle of field of view of filming equipment. Vector with the beginning in the point from the set for the primary image and the end in the point from the set for the repeated picture, which is the smallest angle with the design vector of the speed SC at the SC passage over the observation object, is determined. Current orbit SC is received by a line passing at the moment of taking pictures through the beginning and end of said vector.;EFFECT: technical result consists in determination of orbit parameters outside trajectory measurement zones.;1 cl, 2 dwg
