FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nutritional composition for infants or a young child. Nutritional composition contains only 2'-fucosyllactose (2FL) as fucosylated oligosaccharide and lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT) only as N-acetylated oligosaccharide and is used in preventing and/or treating inflammations in the gastrointestinal tract in an infant or young child. Inflammations in the gastrointestinal tract represent enteritis, gastroenteritis, enterocolitis, oesophagitis or any combination thereof. Infant is a child under age of 12 months, and the young child is a child aged one to three years.
