METHOD OF WELDING AND SOLDERING OF DISSIMILAR METAL ALLOYS WITH A LASER BEAM

FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of laser welding-soldering of dissimilar metal alloys. Workpieces (1) and (2) of dissimilar metal alloys are prepared by mechanical and / or chemical treatment for butt welding. Workpieces are combined with their butt ends to form joint plane (5) and workpieces are fixed. Laser beam (3) is directed to workpiece or from alloy with higher absorption capacity of radiation of used wavelength of laser, or from alloy with lowest wettability in liquid state with metal of second welded workpiece. Protective gas supply is switched on and, after 10–15 seconds, the system of circular oscillations of the laser beam is simultaneously switched on and laser beam (3) is moved along the path parallel to the joint plane. Laser beam is displaced by distance (4) of 0.5–5.0 mm from edge of workpiece (1) in contact with workpiece (2). Laser beam (3) is moved to the end of joint of workpieces, or to the required distance, laser radiation is switched off and after 20–30 seconds the protective gas supply system is switched off. Circular motions (11) by laser beam (3) along or counterclockwise are performed so that direction of flow and leakage of molten metal flows towards the second non-molten workpiece.;EFFECT: disclosed is a method of laser welding-soldering of dissimilar metal alloys.;5 cl, 2 dwg
