FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to anaesthesiology in ophthalmosurgery. Presented is a method for general anaesthesia in vitreoretinal surgeries involving premedication followed by induction into anaesthesia by administering hypnotic propofol and esmeron muscle relaxant, intubation of a trachea, performing a subtenon anaesthesia and supporting anaesthesia by a surgeon. That is combined with application of mixture of 0.75 % ropivacaine solution and viscoelastic.;EFFECT: invention provides blocking of afferent impulsation by combined use of general, subtenon and application anaesthesia, thereby contributing to reducing the rate of development of oculocardic and oculogastral reflexes and associated adverse consequences.;1 cl, 2 ex
