FIELD: military equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment, in particular to guided artillery projectiles (GAP) and guided missiles with laser half-active homing heads (HH). Method for calculating firing settings of a guided projectile with a laser semi-active HH in cloud conditions includes inputting a target and instruments into the coordinate command console, as well as values of ballistic corrections, measurement and subsequent input of atmospheric pressure, temperature, speed and direction of wind into commander's console, measurement of height of lower boundary of cloudiness and input of its value into commander's panel, calculation in command console of firing settings, determination of guided missile trajectory height under current conditions and calculated firing installations, determination of trajectory height in target capture time of target HH of projectile, comparison of flight height of guided projectile with height of terrain, adjustment of firing settings taking into account this comparison. For the given terrain relief, the calculated flight path of the guided projectile is compared at the calculated moment of capturing the target HH with the height of the lower cloud boundary and, if it exceeds the height of the lower cloud boundary, firing settings are selected from the memory of the commander's console and simultaneously meet requirements that the height of the trajectory of the projectile at the calculated moment of capturing the target HH does not exceed the height of the lower boundary of the cloud and the height of the trajectory of the flight of the shell exceeds the altitude of the terrain on the entire trajectory of the missile's flight. If these conditions are not met, firing settings are selected from the memory of the commander's console with the height of the trajectory of the missile above the relief height, and a warning on reducing the probability of falling of the projectile due to low clouds is issued to the screen of the commander's panel.;EFFECT: high probability of GAP target striking due to formation of a rational flight trajectory of the projectile depending on cloud height and terrain features.;1 cl, 1 dwg
