FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Disclosed is a method of producing lactulose, involving preparation of a solution of pharmacopoeial lactose and/or recrystallisation of purified pharmacopoeial lactose in distilled water, isomerization thereof, isomerized solution thickening, lactulose solution separation and drying. Lactose solution is prepared with 21–25 % concentration on the main substance; the prepared syrup is subjected to electrochemical activation without addition of chemical reagents; then the obtained syrup is isomerised. Then one performs neutralization of syrup, decolouration, condensation, separation of fractions of syrups of lactose and lactulose in apparatus for liquid chromatography and drying of lactulose syrup.;EFFECT: invention provides faster process of producing lactulose.;1 cl, 2 ex
