Composite filter (1) comprising at least one coarse filter fabric (2) and at least one fine filter fabric (3), the coarse filter fabric (2) having a larger mesh size (8) than the fine filter fabric (3) and having warp thread (4) and weft thread (5) , characterized in that only at intersection points (6) where the warp thread (4) and weft thread (5) intersect in the coarse filter fabric (2) and where the warp thread faces the fine filter fabric, on the warp thread (4, 5) on it an adhesive (7) is applied to the side facing the fine filter fabric (3) and that the meshes (8) of the coarse filter fabric (2) formed between the crossing points (6) are essentially free of adhesive (7).
