The operating, working and lecture consoles are designed in such a way that ergonomic and stable working of the lecturers and operators (26) is guaranteed in a sitting and standing working position. The desks in the stage and lecture areas should have a floor surface (24) that is gentle, movable and stable. Under a desk plate (1), which is equipped with a level-adjustable swivel part (3), is a cabinet part (11) and a foot part (17) consisting of a lifting movable foot plate (20) arranged and supported in a stable manner. When the footplate (20) is lifted in the meantime and roller support elements (22) are placed under it with movement rollers (23), an aligning positioning movement of the desks takes place, which ends when the footplate (20) is set down in a stable position.
