The invention relates to a honeycomb catalyst for the oxidation of CO and organic air pollutants in an exhaust gas stream, the honeycomb catalyst being formed from a material containing oxides of tungsten and titanium doped with a noble metal and wherein the honeycomb catalyst has a honeycomb density below 20 cpsi . Such a honeycomb catalyst is particularly suitable for the oxidation of CO and organic air pollutants under high dust loads.
