The invention relates to a brush head (1) for cleaning an internal thread (2) of a screwed cover (3) of a reactor pressure vessel (4), with a base body (5) that can be inserted into the internal thread (2) and has a longitudinal axis and at least one on the base body (5) spring-mounted round brush (7) which, due to the spring force, strives radially away from the longitudinal axis in order to be able to engage threads of the internal thread (2).
