A shopping cart (100), a rack holder (200) for a shopping cart (100) and a system with a rack holder (100) and a shopping cart (200) are described. The shopping cart (100) has a body (1) with opposite side areas and a receiving area, a frame being arranged on the side areas and the frame having two support elements (25). At least one of the support elements (25) has two laterally projecting pins (31) at an upper end. The pins (31) are received in curved guideways of at least one side region, a first pin (31) being received in a first guideway and a second pin (31) in a second guideway. A toothed belt (21) is guided along the at least one side region, the at least one support element (25) being connected to the toothed belt (21) via a third pin (27).
