The invention provides a resonator device (100) for a microlaser and a method for operating such a resonator device. The resonator device is formed with: a whispering gallery resonator (110) comprising a first resonator component (112) and a second resonator component (114) which are spaced apart by a resonator gap (120), wherein at least one resonator component (114) is movably supported ; and a micromechanical actuator (160), by means of which the at least one movably mounted resonator component (114) is movable in order to vary a width of the resonator gap (120).
