An additive manufacturing device includes a platform, a dispenser for dispensing multiple layers of feed material onto an upper surface of the platform, and an energy delivery assembly. The energy output assembly comprises a light source for emitting one or more light beams, a first reflection element that has a plurality of reflection facets, and at least a second reflection element. The first reflection element can be rotated such that successive facets move the light beam sequentially along a path on the top layer. The at least one second reflection element is movable so that the at least one second reflection surface can be repositioned on the top layer along a two-dimensional path for receiving at least one of the at least one light beam and deflecting at least one of the at least one light beam.
