A cyclone separator (1) for separating particles from a fluid stream is disclosed in the present document. The cyclone separator (1) comprises a housing (5) and at least one guide vane (13) which is arranged in the housing (5) between an inflow opening (7) and an outflow opening (9). The at least one guide vane (13) extends radially to an axis (11) and is provided with an angle of inclination (a0) in order to provide a cyclone around the axis (11). Each of the at least one guide vanes (13) comprises a vane section (15) which is movably arranged between a first and a second position. The vane portion (15) is biased toward the first position and the vane portion (15) is configured to be moved from the first position toward the second position by the force of the fluid stream acting on the vane portion (15) .
