Method and device for acquiring data which characterize a sensitivity to glare of the test subject's visual sense

A method for acquiring data relating to a test subject's glare sensitivity is presented. The method is characterized in that optotypes are displayed on a presentation surface, which are initially outshone by a glare light source. The optotypes are then moved laterally away from the glare source until they can be perceived by a test person in their peripheral vision area. Data identifying the position of the optotype at this event is acquired, i.e. recorded and saved. An independent claim is directed to a device set up to carry out the method.
