A sole structure 1 comprises an upper midsole 3 made of an elastic material and a lower midsole 5 made of an elastic material, which is connected to the upper midsole 3 from below. The upper midsole 3 has first projections 3c projecting in the direction of the lower midsole 5, and the tips of the first projections 3c lie against the lower midsole 5 in such a way that the tips of the first projections 3c are movable relative to the lower midsole 5.
