A knowledge production system (10) includes: a data receiving section (131) which, when an event occurs in a unit (12), only receives data after a time at which only a preset time before the event occurs; and a production section (132) that extracts a feature amount on the event from the received data and data received in the past by the occurrence of the same event as the event, so as to generate knowledge information about the event.
