This immunostaining method includes an irradiating step for irradiating with a first excitation light, a sample having a target molecule including electron donor, an antibody bound to the target molecule and generating means for generating active species by the action of the first excitation light, and a dye compound to bind the electron donor and the dye compound by the action of the active species generated from the generating means by irradiating with the first excitation light.
