This disclosure provides radio enhancement using crowdsourced listener data. A memory is configured to store listener data indicating radio stations that are listened to by a plurality of listeners and genre classifications of the radio stations. A processor is programmed to combine a plurality of the genre classifications into a single combined genre classification in response to a listener behavior distributed among the plurality of listeners indicating an overlap in listening to the plurality of genre classifications; separate one of the genre classifications into a plurality of separate genre classifications in response to a listener behavior distributed among the plurality of listeners indicating different subsets of radio stations within the one of the genre classifications; and reclassify the radio stations according to the updated genre classifications.
