External head equipment to reduce the tone of the chewing muscles in patients with Bruxism and/or other craniomandibular dysfunctions (CMD),comprising two bent hard wires (1, 2),which are connected by two separate connecting elements (3, 4), each at both ends of the bent hard wires (1, 2) strings (5), the hard wires (1, 2) having a length of 25 to 48 cm, the separate connecting elements (3, 4) having a length of 4 to 10 cm, where the distance of the attachments (5) at the two ends of a bent hard wire (1, 2) is five to 11 cm respectively, the two separate attachments (3, 4) being three to eight cm apart, the external head equipment having a symmetrical plane, the two bent hard wires (1,2) cuts.
