operating unit (1) for an elevator with a control panel (2),which includes an input switch (5, 51, 52) and an elevator control (3) for the reception of control signals from the control panel (2) and for the control of an elevator, with some of the input switches (5) for the selection of a desired floor as the destination of the elevator being marked, that at least one of the input switches (5) is sent a control signal to the elevator control (3) by re-operating the same input switch (5), which causes the selection of the desired floor to be lifted in the elevator control (3).
